Community-nominated custom titles

Earlier this year ol' [MENTION=297]FarligOpptreden[/MENTION] suggested the idea that members of the MyGaming community that qualify for custom titles should be able to submit themselves for having one assigned by the community.

I'm not going to go into the specifics of how to get a custom title or the details of Farlig's suggestion. You can read all about it in the original thread: "I can haz custom tightless plox?"

Folks interested in the idea then also asked for a way to differentiate between folks who picked their own name, and those who had the community choose theirs.

After investigating, I found that I can create custom awards for this purpose that will appear below your avatar block.

I've put together a few options for this award and thought it would be cool to put it to a vote.

1. Balls of Steel
2. Risky Business
3. Tempting Fate 1
4. Tempting Fate 2

Only one of these will be used (and it looks like it will be Balls of Steel).

After the community votes on your custom title and I am informed of the outcome, your title will be changed and the "Balls of Steel" award given to you for taking the risk of letting the community decide on your title.

If I can leave one legacy in my life, it seems like it'll be a bunch of people with shiny metal balls under their forum avatars... Is that weird?
