Console exclusivity envy

Ever since I got all three (PC, Xbox and PS3) my inner fanboi has been relatively silent. Now I just point and laugh at the rest. :D
 
I going to have two of them. So far my pc fanboy has been silenced lol.
 
This far into the current generation it's borderline stupid not to own both a PS3 and a 360. Too many brilliant exclusives on both sides that you will miss out on if you only own one of the two.

Um not every one can afford both consoles.
 
I'm no fanboi....had my xbox for about 3 years before I saw the light after I swopped it for the 5th time's RROD....switched to PS3...
 
Recently the proud owner of a shiny new ps3. Had the xbox for a while though.
Both got great exclusives, but I can now get the older ps3 ones that are platinum, which is awesome
 
I must say though that PS3 has had some good ones lately with the likes of Heavy Rain and God of War 3.
Gears of War 3 should be a great one for XBox, but there's still a bit of a wait for that one

OMW and you said that "not all of us are made out of money, like some people". I suppose I misread your comment and didn't realize you were included in that list of "some people".
 
Well most console exclusives are really meh anyways. Only thing the PS3 has for me is MGS, and the Xbox has Halo, but there really not that good anyways and not worth paying R3000 for a system thats just gonna break down the very second the warrentee expires. And theres allways the option of being patient and waiting for either ports or emulators.
 
Sarcasm On!! Yeah like Raven says, no need to buy something, just pirate it! Its all crap anyways so its okay to pirate to teach them devs to make better gamez! And consolez, lol, they are for kidz anyways, and we all know games for kidz are meh! PC RULZ!!! "I am so butt-hurt that I cant afford a console and games in general... sigh, but no one will ever know about my secret"...

I hate to enter into this discussion for the umpteenth time, but the amount of flimsy fanboy generalizations here is just ridiculous:

1. 'Meh' exclusives? Really? Uncharted 2, God of War 3, MGS4, Gears of War 2, Halo 3 and LittleBigPlanet are 'meh'? As far as I can see these titles are amongst the highest rated games ever made.

2. So you'd rather pay R3000 for a video card alone which usually gets upgraded after a couple of years? Coincidentally, around about the same time the warranty expires? Funny, a bunch of mates and I have had our consoles since practically release day and none of us have had a single issue. (I do recall my last PC experiencing a few HDD failures and a faulty mobo though. Weird.)

3. When they release the 'non-meh' console exclusives or a working PS3/X360 emulator for PC, give me a shout: I'll happily pay for all the games for you and eat my hat at the same time.

Rusty you imp, Mass Effect 1 and 2 are both available on PC
 
I still maintain different games are for different platforms. But when it comes to consoles, I still prefer my xbox. The PS3 is not bad, I love my little big planet dude, but the ergonomics of the controller and GUI do not suit me very well.
