Clearly someone didn't read the article and is really narrow minded to think that the gaming industry is divided into two markets exclusively, ie, console and PC.

Someone shoot me in the face the day mobile devices take over proper consoles.
That's not real gaming, but that's just my opinion.

Well consoles are more specialised for gaming for the purposes of what is being said in the article. PC's too but they're not part of this discussion.
Mobile devices aren't and games have to be adapted in some interesting ways to work on them, meaning that a lot of the aspects that make a good title get lost in translation.
Its not for me.
 
Not a huge fan of mobile gaming (but is it strange that I do enjoy playing on the 3DS? I know its not really mobile gaming, but handheld/portable gaming and mobile gaming are very closely related), but it seems that it is really taking off according to this article.
