Are you a control freak?

What controls do you like to use, whether its keyboard and mouse an xbox controller a playstation controller maybe you even have joysticks or something else.

This is what I use for driving games now.

Arrow keys - left, right, forward

gear up - x
gear down - z
handbrake - spacebar

Do you rebind your keys?

Most of my gaming happens on console, so I am perfectly happy with using a controller.

On PC, it's either WASD and some rebinding of keys to more comfortable places for FPS games, or it's Xbox One Controller for action adventure games.

I would love to have a joystick for some flight sim gaming, or a wheel for some racing though.

Also, racing games on PC is just much better played with a controller. IMO

I don't normally rebind my keys. The only changes I normally make controller wise is to invert the y-axis.

Driving games the arrow keys and space and shift for handbreak and boost.

FPS

WASD
Shift for melee
F for running
depending if there is lean or not QE
Mouse 4 for grenade.

Oh wait, now that I see that. I do bind things to two of my extra mouse buttons. For instance I remapped the scanning in Mass Effect: Andromeda from the G key to one of the mouse buttons.

Don't think I've met anyone that actually uses one of these.

You have...me. This damn keyboard WILL not die. I've been using it for ages now. Still works like a damn charm no issues. It has n-key rollover. The only "disadvantage" is that it's USB 1.1, not THAT much of an issue. If it dies I'll get a Steelseries Apex, which is the replacement for the old Z-series.

I've got the Apex. Very happy with it.

I leave the controls pretty much Standard , if its not FPS and supports the xbox controller then I usually end up using it.

Also have the Apex. I love all the colour combinations on the zoned RGB lighting. My laptop also has a SteelSeries keyboard with full RGB lighting that can be programmed to change colour in pulsing waves. I go for a nice purple-cyan-red scheme, but no pulsing.

Goeie hemel. That Zboard looks way too much. Will never be able to play on there.
When playing fps what more do you need that WASD, control, shift, space and mouse?

Not much else. Depending on the game it may have a button for throwing a grenade or a melee attack but for those controls I also bind them to my Mouse 4 & 5 buttons. ;)

Yeah, some games might have action buttons like e or F. Or R to reload even though most casual FPS games reload is automated

It's just a giant WSAD with little chance to press anything other that what you intend to. Everything is rebindable, just makes things "simple"

That is what was bothering me!, the S and A were switched around =D

But in all seriousness. How many of the bindable keys do you use?
I had the normal sized CM and Razer Keyboards with those row of bindable keys on the left of the Esc, Tab buttons. And they were never ever used at all.

It varies, I do use them for launching applications. In game I have a couple of titles set up with macros. I really enjoy control. Especially if a title deems you unworthy of rebinding keys I'm like "fine, I'll change them elsewhere"
