I want to build a Mame cabinet as well, but apart from the joysticks, I am looking for light guns to play house of the dead and Time Crises.

Any local links for that [MENTION=1402]Avatar[/MENTION] ?

Unfortunately, they don't have 8-way sticks. Or trackballs... Or spinners. But I guess I could always see if my brother would dismantle my old one and send me the parts

Trackballs and spinners should be available on RS-components, but that'll be industrial grade parts; bulletproof and expensive.

Light guns have me stumped. The last ones I knew of were the Time Crisis guns for PS1, I think. No idea if it's possible to find those, nor make it work with a PC!
