So, the coolest games right now for VR are all stationary, cockpit type games, with Vanishing Realms being more of a point-and-click adventure style games. These are probably the genre of games VR would work the best I feel, as they would immerse you more than say a FPS game, where you would struggle with controlling and looking and shooting all at the same time. Not saying it's impossible, but people would not really adopt VR for its ability to make FPS games better. These types of games, on the other hand, are directly possible and much better because of VR. Imagine recreating something like Day Of The Tentacle in VR, keeping it point-and-click for navigation, but all in the immersive VR world. That would be absolutely epic.
