CoOp Couch Games

Hi All

Im looking for a descent CoOp (Split Screen) game for the PS3.
My Wife and I have finished off Borderlands (With all DLC) and we playing our second play through now. But Im looking for something new.

Was using Co-Optimus.com to find some but I dont really trust the Reviews they provide, they Rated Resident Evil 5 as Great, but it really sucked in split screen....

Any Suggestions?
Was thinking of Portal 2, but not sure if it has split screen......
 
When I saw the topic I immediately had halo and Gears of War in mind. I'm not sure if there are PS3 exclusive games with split screen but STAY AWAY from Resident Evil 5 and Lost Planet 2 if you're looking for enjoyable split screen games. They have the worse split screen implementation I've ever seen :(

If you are looking for FPS's then try the Left 4 Dead series. If you don't mind third person games then try Army of Two. Not the best game but quite enjoyable split screen co-op. Kane and Lynch 2 is another option you can look into.
 
My GF is always begging me for Army of 2 (40th day) so you should give it a go, also Uncharted 3 will have split screen co-op!
 
Undoubtedly the best local co-op game that I've played is Lara Croft & the Guardian of Light.. Check youtube for the review.. Great puzzles, great action & overall just a well polished game... Only thing, not sure if a hard copy version has been released yet, I got mine from PSN, its a hefty 2.4GB download...
 
I don't know if you'll enjoy it, but I recently co-op'd Army of Two: 40th day with a friend and I had a blast. It was better than what I expected and I think it's always fun when you have some one to play a co-op game with you :)
 
The best co-op game I played was Army of Two: 40th Day. Can't go wrong with that one. Plus you should be able to get it in the bargain bin now.
Gears is good, but not quite fully aimed at co-op.

We tried Army of Two, I loved it but not the wife.... She doesnt like the controls. :(
Borderlands was great
Resistance was great, but we where very dissappointed with second one as it didnt have the CoOp Campaign waiting for third one now.

I would like to play Gears and Halo but dont have a XBox, maybe end of the year with bonus money! :)
