Counter Strike Source - Which to Buy

Steam is having specials for Xmas and I want to buy CSS.

Its a classic and I still love to play it some times

I am just confused which package should I buy to play locally? Do I need Gary Mod?

Do I get CSS + Gmod

Well G-mod is just a mod for playing around and doing all sorts of crap. So do you want that or not is the big question.

Unfortunately thats the prob I have noticed with Steam, they dont mention the size of the downloads, they say that it is digitally delivered which is obvious.

Kyubi_Brat did you buy it? I want to buy Source also but have some questions:

- Will I have to activate it?
- Is it still available in the shops? Or is steampowered the only way?

I bought it from Steam . No activation was required. I dont think you will find them in stores....It was just over a gig of downloading.

No size was mentioned. That did suck i was not sure to download it or wait until Jan but I just went for it. I changed my content server to Germany though. I got much better speeds
