Our guys really did bat without any resistance... But our bowlers also need to come to the party... You cant have a team score 400 against you... 300 is average, anything above is not good enough... especially when we have the top 2 ranked bowlers...
 
Well SA obviously not doing too well. Don't know how many people saw the Morkel / Warner lbw review but with the DRS and lbw outs surely if the wicket would have been given the team applying for the DRS shouldn't lose one of their chances. It makes no sense to me.

Warner would have been out but because the ball didn't pitch in line the on field umpire decision stands. The DRS system really isn't serving any purpose but to piss off the team using it.

As a general rile of thumb, if the ball doesn't pitch in line, its a not out LBW... So unless the on field ump is convinced its going to hit the stumps, even tho it pitches outside the line, its going to be a not out... We were silly to review it, hes bowling from wide of the crease trying to get the ball to cut across...

We are desperate at the moment... Not a good position to be in...

Im quite happy with the changes, Excited to see De Kock! Parnell has good experience on the wicket so that's also good :-)
 
Gl to the boys and i hope we can smash Mitchell for a change and i hope GS has a better game otherwise they should replace him for a bit too i think

I really hope the boys give mitch a good working over and score lots of runs off him... Because he can go for a lot, weve seen it in the past, and even tho he demolished us in the 1st test he was a bit expensive... If they get ontop of him and demoralise him we could be a lot better off...

On the plus side, We survived the first 2 overs :D
 
Amla's been in a bit of a rut for a while now... really need him back to his best. Hoping that the rest of the batsmen can get a decent total. Elgar needs to get off the mark quite badly.
 
Well I like the look of our batting lineup but our top order has to come to the party Smith and Amla are out of form and Dean just got of the mark yay.
 
I just really want smith to get back to his awesomeness! When he is on form our team is on form! Its incredible how his performance alone impacts our team... The mighty Hash... We need him so badly this series and he's just not turning up...

Yeah made it to lunch well done Faf and Dean that was the first time this series our batsmen played proper test cricket.
