Ya glad we made it to lunch with only the two down... Was getting worried there for a second... Faf and Elgar looking decent though... Nice rebuilding partnership...

Yip, Faf and Elgar look settled... What worries me is that this pitch looks very flat, and like there is very little in it for the bowlers... Hopefully with the help of Parnell our guys can use his knowledge of the ground to our advantage...
 
So pretty decent start to the day! These two saw off the new ball well and seem to be playing quite sensibly ;-)

I dont want to say my usual "I hope they can get stuck in and pull something off here", cause every time I do we lose a wicket.

Yip, Hopefully this pitch will be a good confidence boost for our guys against Johnson... I just hope out bowlers can get a bit more out of the pitch... Morkel's Bounce will be pretty much non existent...
 
Yeah we will need some really clever bowling on this track to get through the Aussies, think the slower bowlers will have more of a part to play.
 
JP to get his century and then we look to accelerate a bit and maybe go at the Aussies for a bit in the evening. I almost want them to knock us over for around 420-odd :o
 
You called it....423 all out.... also glad coz it gives us the chance to pick up a quick 3-4 wickets before close of play ;-)
