It comes down to today's playing, if we can make them follow on (I know its a slim chance lol) and then bowl well I reckon we can win this test within 4 days. That's if we continue to bowl the way we did yesterday and up our fielding.

@Joker im not so familiar with the PE pitch but I seem to think it has quite a bad reputation for crumbling later in a test... I dont know if we would want to take the chance batting last on this pitch....

I don't want us batting again, and if we do I don't want us chasing more than say a 100 runs.
We are more than capable of removing the aussies cheaply this morning, I don't think we'll be able to enforce the follow on though so we will most likely have to bat again.

We have a handy 177 run lead and are in a good position, pity about Parnell's injury that could be critical for the Aussie's second innings.

Yip... going in batsman heavy proved to be a good decision, but now our guys are going to really have to bowl well to get the 10 wickets...

Im excited to see de kock carry on tomorrow... hes handling himself really well against johnson!

Ja De Kock is playing well but Amla is making it look real easy, he is such a classy player. That pitch is starting to wear a few balls kept low so it wont be easy for the Aussie's when they bat again.

I'm really glad the Proteas came to the party and won so emphatically. As a team that prides themselves as the number 1 test team in the world, they needed to dictate the terms of this test and show the Aussies who's boss. Newlands will be a cracker of a test match now.

The thing I was most impressed with was how our guys got so much pace out of that wicket! I mean johnson was barely a threat, where as morkel was getting up to 148km!!!
