Crysis 2 Multiplayer

Vampothic, it appears as if you're downloading Special Forces 2 in the background there as well (check just beneath the Origin window)?

Anyhow, just restart your Steam client and your download speed should be back to normal. If that still doesn't help, pick an overseas Steam content server in Europe, that also does the trick when the local ones act up. To change it, go you your Steam menu, Settings and then click on the "Downloads + Cloud" tab and set it there to somewhere in France, Spain or London, the choice is yours.

Those are just a few tips, if you don't want to use them, then that's fine as well. :)
 
Im currently playing a bit thru campaign to get the hang of the game again...with suit powers etc...

Seems mweb servers are a bit of a ghost town most times tho...but maybe we can get it alive again. Maybe even approach mweb to allow some of us to admin those servers...

ya, they're very ghostly! I sat in a lobby with one other guy waiting for something to happen but nobody else joined.

I must say this Maximum Edition has some awesome maps and game modes compared to the original. Never played with the add ons before but Im loving it. Theres also a more traditional mode where everyone plays without suits on. Just regular soldiers. Makes the maps feel way different because now you have to run around things or find the staircase to get to the roof etc. that mode is VERY Call of Duty, just with better graphics.
 
Yeah I was on for about an hour yesterday, waiting for someone to arrive. Then I got ass canned by a bunch of Polish people.

I know I am, but its downloading speed is just as shit as any other download.

Thanks for tips... I'll implement that now and see how things go.
 
the game also has its own friend/matching system. if you do a search for me in the game menu itself, i should turn up. - bradbear117

I do have ya Vamp, at least I think i do....

@bradbear raptr is awsome for connecting and tracking what friends are playing...also give some nice custom signatures (like mine) to use on forums ;)
