Crysis 2 set in New York

Well I hope they keep the 'stalk your prey' gameplay from the original.

Be very disappointing if they dumb it down for action junkies and console kids
 
I loved it ok? and Crysis. i think they are brilliant games

so i'll state this then, Crytek hasn't let me down yet :)
 
This is weird for crytek, what happened to the large open areas with lot of vegetation? this is a weird route,
hope they add an upgrade system to the nano suit, starting the game with the exact same thing you started it with sucks! and it will give it some longevity
 
I'm not convinced. Giving it a city setting might just be an excuse to make the experience a little more linear so the consoles can handle it. I was worried that they were going to have to dumb the game down somewhat in order to accommodate the consoles limitations and now that they move it from an island setting to an urban one it just reinforces my fears. :(

I doubt it dude, Far Cry 2 was a lot more demanding and bigger then Crysis and it was on consoles without any problem
 
The character models were really crap and the story and missions were very very tedious.
 
At least this time round I actually have the PC to play the game maxxed out and not have to wait 3 years for the hardware to still be created, I hope.

Or maybe they release two version one cfor pc and its future requirements and one for consoles. That way the same game can have to different feels. Some what like Fifa being shit on PC and brilliant on console.
 
Anyway i have been looking forward to this game releasing on console i am not an avid PC gamer even though i have a machine that can handle almost anything. I prefer console i feel more free.
 
I love my pc. I enjoy platforms on console but for everything else I prefer the preciseness of the keyboard and mouse.
