Crysis 2 system requirements revealed

The original Crysis runs like butter on my machine and it's not the most high end of rigs either. Considering they optimised it for the consoles I expect Crysis 2 to run even better. I doubt there is much to be concerned about here.
 
The thing about Crysis 2 on Xbox, the graphics is kinda disappointing. I know its good for a 5 year old platform, but because it's CRYSIS ON XBOX, I was expecting more (to be somewhat comparable to the first Crysis was the benchmark). Sadly it's not, but it could just be that they're holding out on the Graphics for the full game launch (doubt it though).

Definitely getting it on PC, because that's the way the Game is intended to be played!

i7 920 - check
6gig ddr3 ocz - check
2x GTX460 1gig - check
2x SSD raid0 - check (super quick load times)

if thats a fail read below:

1x PS3 - Check
1x PS3 controller - Check
1x Sony 46" 100hz - Check

Nope, not gunna cut it bru, I'm sorry to say. Better go get at least a R40 000 rig and a PS4. :D
 
Gonn go home and chuck my PC off the second floor of my place and claim from insurance. Just updated the insurance on my rig yesterday. You think they might think something is up if it is screwed tomorrow? haha. Think they call that fraud though.

hahaha. You gonna have to break in. The insurance might find it strange if i tell them i left it outside for the day to catch some sun.
 
Atleast I know for a fact that my pc will run this with out a hitch. Ran the first one with minor lag at the tank battles I mean very minor then I patched it and ran with out lag.
 
Is crysis 2 dx11? Tsar, if you are running at that res you should be fine. Dont know what type of detail you will get in game but if you can play it like that its awesome man.

i know mine will run it great, i also expect it to be great on the consoles aswell :)

It is a better tweaked engine. It is essential the same.

Can run the first one on full settings. And I have no idea if this game is dx11.

Any machine that could Run Crysis with decent graphics will Run Crysis 2
But thank go this time around I dont have to play it on low ha ha ha

I cant wait this is going to be so ,much fun the MP looks awesome
 
I don't know why everyone is whining about high system requirements. Why can't you be happy that Crytek is trying to push the limits making games that look way better than the usual multisystem game?

always like this. Min specifications like 3 generations older than your current hardware, then come gametime and it runs like a wheelchairbound granny in a tub of jelly
