Crysis 3 Alpha discussion thread.

Guess I'll start us off! :)

Crysis 2 MP Beta was fun, then the full version came out and the shite hit the fan at first with Activation keys not working and stats not being saved etc. Then those got ironed out and it was fun again, then the hackers found their way to the servers and that was gg for me.

So I'm really hoping they've found a better system to keep this crap out the servers and that they learnt from all those previous mistakes. Honestly I'd rather wait and have them properly test and fix those types of issues than have them rush through it to meet the deadline...

Agreed! Even though its free to play ( last time I checked it was)
I'm very skeptical about getting it.
 
I'm keen for anything Crysis 3 :D I've enjoyed all 3 games (warhead included)

What is free to play? Crysis 3?

Crytek is working on an in game/in house anticheat software/tool to help protect the servers.
 
No, you are misreading the info.

Crysis 3 is not free to play, still a full retail game. WARFACE is a free to play title from Crytek. 2 Different games and projects.
 
Monk, iGame would not be giving away keys if we were not hosting servers
ZA iGame Server are live, although Alpha only starts for the public in a few hours, so no one playing yet :)
 
Didn't see a give away, brother handed me a key. Hence I was kind of in the dark. :)

I've really enjoyed previous editions of Crysis. Hopefully this lives up to the hype. Countdown...
 
will be jamming tonight , Im curious to see what they have done with 3 , 2 was awesome till all the haxers showed up
 
There have been multiple server restarts today as we are helping Crytek test reports of crashes. The servers have gone down multiple times due to this and it is hard to maintain a player count when debugging needs to be done. The servers were busy but it seems to have let up now on most servers across the world.
 
I figured as much you guys were testing , it plays much like 2 .lag is almost non existant which is awesome ,there are a lot alpha glitches but overall awesome
