Crysis 3 ( Or general FPS?) lag problem

Hi guys

I have been playing Crysis 3 multiplayer recently, and I noticed something quite annoying. When I play with the Marshall (shotgun), I experience a noticeable delay from when I shoot, to when the hit registers.

There are times when I'm sure I shot, but the guys gets away with full health. I think it might happen with the longer range guns too, but it's not as noticeable. Anyone else have this problem? Bad ping or an ingame problem?

I would say bad ping would give you a different result to what you got, ping would result in eg. You are looking down Iron sights with a rifle, when you fire and release the Iron sights (Viewing in Hip fire) and you see a 1 sec delay between the bullet leaving iron sights and only visible in hip fire. I.e. You fired Iron Sights once you switched to hip, the bullet started going towards the target.

Could be anything to be honest...you didn't provide nearly enough info to say.

Type of connection your using, latency/ping, which server, PC specs etc. i.e. Actual information.

the bullet started going towards the target.
Game code rarely works like that. Things like big slow moving rockets from a rocket launcher are coded like that...most bullets though are just an instant straight vector calc.

Yeah perhaps my explanation was terribad. What a ment was the lag of pushing fire and the bullet only leaving you a 1 sec later (Pistol or Rifle).
