Crysis: Maximum Edition coming March 10th

Finally, PC gaming enthusiasts can get their hands on the entire Crysis collection with the announcement of Crysis: Maximum Edition. The package will include the "2007 PC Game of the Year" Crysis, along with the parallel story Crysis: Warhead as well as the separate multiplayer game known as Crysis Wars.

EA is calling this one “three different games for one low price,” but they failed to actually give a price with the announcement. Thankfully, GameStop has it available for preorder on March 10th with a listed price of $49.99.

Moreover, we agree with the suggested retail price considering the fact that Crysis was $50 when released in November 2007 and Warhead + Crysis Wars was another $30 in September 2008. Not to mention, CryTek has an excellent modding community over at CryMod open for anyone and everyone to freely discuss, create, and share many exciting tweaks and modifications to the Crysis collection. This is one of the best features not included in the box that we highly recommend checking out.

i must be one of the few people who actually though Crysis was a very good and very good looking game

It was a good looking game... maar dit is soos n april maand se waartlemoen, lyk na iets maar proe na niks.

Its didn't have anything else other than its looks.

damn right it was, don't know WTF omega said, (my afrikaans sucks) but looks don't make a game, personly I would rather have great game play and story over graphics

Quite wrong in fact. It was a very intelligent shooter. Have you even played it? Most people who haven't played it assume it's all looks and no game. It couldn't be farther from the truth. It's an excellent game too.

Only reason I'd get this is too see if the cryengine works on my pc :/
Other than that I didnt enjoy the game at all Funish shooter but over to soon.

No hard feelings

LOL - it was meant as a joke - there I was getting my game and the girl at Musica came running after me and told me I forgot my t-shirt (which I have never worn) (no really)
Shot man - watch all the others rip into me now :)

I want to see other developers working on the engine.

Problem with the Cry2 Engine is the system spec to run it properly. Even by todays standards its a tough one running it at max spec. Why work with an engine that only some people can use to the fullest. Rather have an engine that can be fully utilized by most, if not all, mid class machines.

I must say, Iv had more fun tweaking Crysis and using it to gage overclocking improvements/stability than actually playing the campaign. Our test rig can maintain around 40fps with everything on 'enthusiast' with 8xAA at 1680x1050. We are upgrading the monitor soon though, so the fun begins all over again when I started tweaking it on 1920x1200 :D
