Finally started playing comp matches on CSGO. I hadn't reached the 'win 10 competitive matches' requirement and got fed up with the long queue times, so I just played TDM and 1v1 aim servers. Yesterday I finally won my last few competitive matches and played and won 2 "officially ranked" competitive matches.
Managed to get my first ace as well while playing aggressively with the AWP and planting the bomb. Feels good man. [MENTION=16362]Flex[/MENTION] and anyone else willing, feel free to team up some time and provide me with some pointers on flashes and smokes and basic strats for comp?
So far I'm Silver 3 haha

I never wait too long for a match normally 5 to 7 min at the longest.
Ace's are the best when you don't realise how many you've killed until its down to the last guy.
I guess I boosted cause I played with some AK and Double AK's so when I won my 10 matches I was Nova 2, now many matches later I am hovering between Nova 3 and 4. Need to improve my nade game now to take me up to the next level.

I understand that technically he could win 10 games to get ranked and lose every game thereafter and still rank up. The law of averages though would say that an LE player would be a good player and thus win more games ,and you should be matched with players of your skill
but in my experience that most time never happens or maybe I am just too low a level.
Just seems low that's all, I am close to 100 games won and I am only nova 4
I have wanted to try this game, however I have a problem with Valve games I cannot explain. Back in the day when we had LANs with CS and Day of defeat, I would get get nausea like a pirate on bad rum. Everyone said its my pc/screen. When we changed to COD4 and BF the nausea stopped. Last night I watched the E-league catchup on Supersport - CS:GO. Low and behold I vomited like a pregnant drunk. Whats up with that? Not dissing the game at all I really enjoyd the eleague matches.

Might it be FOV? I've heard it can cause nausea.
HL2 used to make me so sick I could only play in short increments. It has to be the FOV especially if you watched it on Supersport I take it the was on your TV? So framerate shouldn't be any issue. I watched some Resident Evil 7 demo last night and was left feeling a little lightheaded and nauseated I am sure that was down to the headbob motion in the game.

jeez dude, nicely done. If you want a "quick" sell, just use the steam market. That thing will go for R270-R280 easy. Otherwise if you wanna trade for keys (the standard "currency"), then I dunno. there is SOME trading on csgolounge.com, but otherwise someone else will need to chime in.
Please tho, don't think that coz you got super lucky with this that this is how it works. definitely quit while you're ahead. unboxing is NOT worth it
Nice! It'll be hard to get real money for it, but you can top up your steam wallet for sure.

Ranked up to Gold Nova Master last night. Absolutely loving this game so much.
Solo queue is a lot of fun, and I'm making a lot of friends through it as well. Downloaded some aim practice maps through the Workshop in order to work on improving my muscle memory and my aim. Still need to learn all the various grenades, smokes and flashes though.

Glad I'm not the only one! I have been called a sissy so many times lol! "Sissy can't handle hardcore gaming" etc.
One of Clive Barkers games I could not get past the front menu, had weird things going on. Instant barf.
