CSGO South African Server Issue (How to fix it)

Here's a helpful PSA for the local guys who play CSGO. Over the last 2 days there has been an issue where match making connects you to a European server instead of a local one. The local servers are online but for some reason no one is being connected to them.

There is a fix however:

Wow, i noticed over the weekend when i tried to DM i had 186ms ping but couldn't understand why. Now i know thanks :D
 
Anyone else notice the cpt server has dropped off the server list?

i only see jnb direct, not cpt servers :(
