Advocate Dali Mpofu has resigned from the ANC to join the EFF, City Press reported on Sunday.
"Internal paralysis [in the ANC] is such that it's a question of time before it renders itself irrelevant to the broader revolution," Mpofu told the newspaper.
Mpofu had been a member of the ANC for 33 years.
