Dark Souls 3

i dont know how long I can still hold out, I want to finish 2 and might skip the dlc just so I can start 3, but maybe i should just get it and start, although taking the time the finish 2 might be worth it, I wonder when they are going to patch
 
So I have 1 last boss and then it's done. Still finding all items in the game (estus and estus strength maxed out) and I'm going to grind covenant achievements before killing the boss and heading to NG+.

If anyone needs a summon at a particular boss, feel free to let me know and I'll come help

There are some excellent secrets and items in the undead settlement.

Also one of my favourite places in the game. The looks, the feel. Everything

It's a chilling place. The ambience is brilliant. Reminds me a lot of Hemwick from Bloodborne. Such a pity you never played that, there are so many influences from Demon's Souls, Dark Souls 1 and 2 and Bloodborne. The evolution of the franchise has been amazing and the older titles still hold up well in today's standards.

Bloodborne is the only reason why I want a PS4

Definitely. Bloodborne is the only game (on PS4) I've actively been playing (almost) every week since it's release and there is no sign of stopping anytime soon, even with Dark Souls III out now. In fact, a friend and I plan to carry on with our coop NG+ later this afternoon.



/Has anyone managed to play coop with a friend using the password matching system? I've helped a few randoms with bosses, been summoned to other worlds by covenant, invaded with red eye orb and summoned randoms into my world, but for some reason I can't get the password system working with a friend. We tried for about 30 - 40 minutes in the early hours of this morning with no luck.

Cross-region matchmaking is on, we have the same password and I put my summon sign down, but my friend just cannot see it. If he takes the password off he can see other summon signs, but with the password on we can't find each other.

I've read that it can take a few minutes for the sign to appear, but we waited about 10 minutes each time and nothing. Don't know if the fact that he is the UK has anything to do with it, but we played Bloodborne coop just fine.

If anyone else is having issues using certain items in certain areas after finishing the game, it is a known issue and is being patched today.

Also, my offer does stand for anyone looking for a summon at any boss. Got discord and a TS3 channel if you need the help.

I've been soloing them all so far and it's been really satisfying. Feels like I still have a ways to go yet.

Yeah I used a summon for only 1 boss, but I think you might be a long way from him. Definitely the most difficult for me

I'm just taking it really easy and chilled, but unfortunately this leads to slow progression. But I'm okay with it. As you know I love the 'Souls series. So every item I pick up, I'm reading up on. Learning Lore and discovering it's stories. Exploring every nook and cranny, admiring vistas and gazing upon places going and places been.

Exactly that! With some ideas and influences thrown in from Souls 2 and Bloodborne. Yet people (the internet) complain that it's too small and too short.
 
I've summoned for two bosses so far, one was just pissing me off and I don't know how to beat the other one solo. The rest has been solo though, I've killed quite a few bosses so far. I'm at level 59 now but I feel I should farm until 65 before going on with the game, getting my ass handed to me in the area I am now.

Summon me ;) if you're on PC that is.

I was farming 2 bosses as a sunbro for medals and now I'm farming the Watchdogs of Farron covenant.

Also, to those who are struggling to stay kindled, put your summon sign down at a boss you can beat. You get souls and an ember when defeating the boss.

I'm on PS4 sadly. You know you can farm for that covenant from enemies as well. Droprate is not that high though, depending on your item discovery as well. Those enemies right before the

Abyss Walkers
boss fight can drop them. I've levelled that covenant without killing one other player. I like the covenant but don't like to get summoned the whole time so I switched to sunbro for now.
