Yes ... I agree with you. But, keep in mind that many of the people who go to the site are not incredibly well-informed internet regulars like ourselves [case in point - see how many fall for The Onion articles on a regular basis], and things get blown out of proportion. And the people in charge of deciding if games should be allowed and/or censored into oblivion will go with public opinion, not being gamers themselves.
It's all about sensationalism these days, after all ... screw the truth.
