Dark Souls heading for Steam launch

Wow, two successful petitions! Careful guys we might just break the internet :D
Looking forward to this game, it's great that it's on Steam since that'll mean a steam sale eventually so I can at least afford to get this on a tight budget.

I don't know much about the game or the developer, but I'm starting to like these guys... listening to their fans like that :)

I know this article is a couple of months old... but anyone know why the Steam version of Dark Souls says has this little bit attached?:
Additional: Online play requires software installation of and log-in to Games For Windows - LIVE

I was about to pre-order the damn thing

We've been had!

I won't be buying it a second time around. I can die just as well on PS3. :D
Um ok...

As for the game, considering all the info being released about the possible dodgy-ness of the PC version I think this should be a wait and see.

I don't get it?

He didn't say anything confusing or strange as far as I can tell.
No it was just a statement that had no value, pointless if you will. Saying you're not buying it on PC because you already own in on PS3 seems like a waste of time. But that's just me.

It is a bit sad about GFWL, will have to wait until after release to see the full reaction to the game.

And I think it's pointless calling out a post from a guy who just said that he's not going to buy something a second time around because there's no extra incentive to getting the PC version. It's the same shitty attitude that quite a number of the regulars here have, and the same thing that's busy driving away not only newcomers, but also many of the established members.

It's also funny to see how this attitude is held by a few members who upon originally coming to these forums were constantly ostracised for making rubbish posts. "whistling:

If you see a post you don't like, and you don't have anything constructive to say in opposition to it, ignore it and move along. No need to give the newer members a hard time.

I basically just gave a shrug, you are the one who wanted me to explain the whole thing. I didn't say the point was rubbish just not very informative, he also never mentioned anything about 'extra incentive to get the PC version' so you're just putting words in his mouth. If he had said that then a discussion could have been had since that is a valid view to hold.

I don't see how that is being mean or driving or driving people away.

WoW! You went from

to full on rant against the status quo, that chip on your shoulder must be making you knees buckle buy now.

So in other words don't do what you did and venture way off topic because you saw a post you didn't like and didn't have anything constructive to add so instead you took a comment that meant nothing, heck if it was me there would be pictures and everything telling the dude why his post was pointless, and turned this molehill into a mountain.

Congratulations, I award you Gold in "Not following Your Own Advice".

No if you're finished on your soap box maybe this thread could take a few steps back to its original topic?
