Here's a nice article a guy made about best weapons with regards to build:

At the moment I'm still devided on my weapon choice. By far the Black Knight Halberd is my favorite, maxed to +5. It weak attack is very quick even for a 2 handed polearm and wielding it with 1 hand with no issues.
I've been reading some of your talks about the weapons (Claymore & Zweihander) and did some research on it, and I'm contemplating taking the Zweihander through the Fire Upgrade Path. One downside for the Zweihander for me is the slow weak attack (since its an ultra greatsword).

Just killed the lightning demon with a bow and (many) arrows

I think I had to kill him using the Bow & Arrow as well. This time round I could withstand his blows.

Killed the Capra Demon EVENTUALLY. and got his machete as reward
Well done. I must admit, I summoned someone to help me take him down but after that I started getting better at the game.

Yeah I did it with Armi, and then helped him to do the same. and then I went grave robbing and slaughtered a bunch of skeletons and that dude in the gold armor

So I got myself a new Xbox controller and receiver for PC.
Been running through on NG+ on my warrior and I forgot how much I hated the Black Dragon Kalameet fight. Really need Dark Souls 2 to come out for PC now.
Having played Dark Souls so much, it has lost it's grip on me. I used to be absolutely terrified going around every corner and I would creep through areas so slowly.
Now it's all tank and spank for me.

I take it that's a boss in the Artorias of the Abyss DLC? I'm farming now on NG+. Found cool way to increase souls from enemies slain at a well known farming spot in Darkroot Garden. I make about 30k souls/2 minutes
