Dark Souls

So lucky me is on leave today and that means it's time to get back to dark souls. But I don't really know where to go. I am thinking of doing a forest run and then going to blight town. Or what would the veterans suggest? I killed the Capra Demon and killed that big ass thing before you open the door to blight town. From what I have heard blight town will be an extreme bitch

Blight Town is a bitch yes, terrible place to play around never mind the frame drops. But it is essential to farm certain items, Green Titanite comes to mind.

Anyone here that played Demon souls? I see its on special in the Ps store for like 70bucks.

Yeah, I'm sure there are a few guys on the forum who have played it, including myself. It is definitely worth that price and IMO it is also the best out of the 3 Souls games.

If you search around the forum you will probably find a very long Demon's Souls thread.

oh man, you really can't go wrong with Demon's Souls, truely a blessing in disguise and at that price. This one though is tough, more so than Dark Souls! And Nexus, oh Nexus! That's the Firelink Shrine of DS.
Demon's Souls, this is where the Lore started, and boy is it rich with it. If you are one like me, you will want it just for this purpose.

I swear this forum is corrupting me. There I was swearing off buying new games, but then I read everything you guys say about all these awesome games and now I need to buy everything. Demon souls it is then.

Just remembered, also have a look at Dragons Dogma, if you enjoy Dark Souls.
 
I'm still seeing this game on RadBrad's Youtube channel right now. It looks pretty awesome though.

So I started playing this again now that I've defeated 2.

I've been taking a break since I got my ass handed to me by the 4 kings. will probably jump in again some time this week
 
I never get time for dark souls anymore. The flatmates girlfriend also learned how to use Netflix on the ps3 :( . Goddamn the technology.

hahaha.... I had a bad run in with an invader the other night in Dark Root Gardens in front of Siff boss door. Has kinda put me off, or I'll just play offline from here. Don't like the cheaters/hackers in this game.

Yeah I still haven't made it to blight town. So the plan is now to get that done, get souls to buy the seal for the door in dark root and then grind a bit before I venture to new Londo.
 
Right, got my PC up and running again and started this up.

Man it takes some getting used to after playing SO much DS2.
