The required internet connection is somewhat chafing and the occasional invites from other players while you're single-playing can get bloody annoying, but I manage to look past that and I'm truly enjoying Darkspore. I'll try the co-op later, but for now I'll continue spending hours in the character editor and half-an-hours in the single player campaign.
Beautiful alien landscapes, varied hero characters, exotic sounds, some genuinely cool powers and lotsa loot; loving it. And I'm not just saying that because I paid R300 for it. I do have the ability to swallow my pride and admit when I bought shit, like Alpha Protocol. For R400. At least I skipped Alone in the Dark.
