DayZ and Minecraft fulfill "the promise of games" reckons Portal writer

It's like I've been saying, DayZ is perhaps the most important thing to happen to gaming this year.
 
They're pushing to get it out by the end of the year. I think the WarZ game is putting some pressure on them, because that's also supposed to come out by then.

I just really hope they give those of us who already own Combined Ops on Steam some discount for the standalone.
