DayZ's new DirectX 11 renderer, and nothing has changed

Sadly the fanboys on their forums will continue telling them what a great job they're doing. Meanwhile after 3 years the game is still behind where the mod was after 6 months.

With that being said, does the same not apply to H1Z1?
 
I'm not sure. I never really got into H1Z1. Last I heard people were complaining that they were focusing development on the wrong stuff.

Such as paying for airdrops?

Eh I'm a bit out of the loop with these zombie apocalypse games. But they do seem to be doing some strange things in some of these games. Either way, not a single one of all the open world zombie survival games have really lived up to their promise. They all seem to focus on the wrong things.
 
DayZ is an utter failure, nothing will ever change. Bohemia doesn't seem to give a shit about the game. They continually talk about the "future" but that future never comes. Apart from a few graphical upgrades and a couple of insane bugs that were sorted out the game hasn't changed at all.

It's sad though, the game could be amazing with just a few small additions.
 
Still not sure why out of all the Zombie survival games that came out none of them could put together a solid Zombie AI & movement / pathfinding, literally just that and some light crafting / scavenging / base building would beat Day Z's gameplay
