Dead Island

Guys, playing with a friend on act 2, we found a quarantine in the City, i thought i was a badass till 9 infected and a thug chases you around.Even when you kill them they re-spawn, they are always 2 lvls higher.Is there anything around there worth finding?Or should i rather use this as a place to experiment?
 
In my travels this morning I accidentally came across a cheat..:P I was fooling around and I duplicated one of my items...:D
 
haha ye, cyro and I did that when we were trading guns. When traded something back it duplicated it and one remained in inventory. Pretty cool to make some extra money :D

Its cool I found one in the jugle and one near the life gaurd place. Omg did you know in this game a spade and shovel is not the same thing...

Just got to the jungle yesterday they did a wonderfull job on the weather just a shame there is no night man I would love to see this game with a day night cycle.

Hands up who hates going into the police station in the city.

Did you see on the steam forums. Okes are trying to make mods. Read it on kotaku. One of the things is a day night cycle. Just might get VAC banned for playing with it. :(

Yeah been following it since the start. Awesome idea's there but yeah I don't want a vac ban, hopefully the dev will take note and take some of those idea's and make a patch soon.
 
Eh, the city isn't so bad now that I'm used to it. Still tough, but no longer as scary. I'm going to have to hit the sewers soon, though. Busy running out of sidequests. :(
 
There was noway I am doing all those side quest in the city. This game has not been scary at all, sure there are a few places where they jump out of you but nothing scary. The thing that kind of sounded scary was the soundtrack near the hotel.

Graal have you run into the famouse invinite spawn in the city yet?

And anybody got some tips on figthing that dam zombie that steals all your stamina?

After side quests u can try go for achievements maybe..?:)

I try to do side quests before I carry on with the story quests..:)

Yeah, the soundtrack near the hotel creeped me right the fuck out. Haven't been to the infinite spawn area yet, though. I just finished the sewers in co-op with a friend, and I have to admit, they weren't that bad, actually. Will see if I ever have to do it alone, though. :P
 
the noise the suicider zombie makes in the sewers is enough to make me never want to go down there alone, it's a bit creepy.

meh, only going to get a chance to play again tomorrow
 
Damit is there no demo out? I seriously wana try this out before I buy it. Is it the kinda game where you wait till 11pm and turn all the lights off?

Nah.. Itz not nit scary like amnesia.. Itz more like.. "Ahhh!! That gave me a fright!, okay.. I'm over it (the fright)" But Itz a cool game..:)
 
Just remeber there are still a lot of game gliches. Like when creating an item it does not get made bu still uses the ingredents, sound cutting off with explosions, weapons going missing from your inventory. just to name a few and game crashes when ther players leave. This is what I and others that I have played with have experinced so far.

Its a good co-op game.
 
Playing it single player is actually also pretty cool..makes for a totally different gaming experience.
I've only been playing it for a day though lol
