Dead Space 3 outed by BT Games

This has now turned into blatant soliciting.

BT Games, you are a bunch of greedy, shameless morons.

They might as well start pre-orders for Half Life 3, Uncharted 4 and Gears of War: A New Beginning... :/

Yeah, it's pretty obvious to most gamers that there will be a Dead Space 3, or a God of War IV, etc - but it just seems a bit much to put up pre-orders for a game that isn't even announced. At least they aren't taking any money for pre-orders, so I guess the harm is mitigated in that regard.

True, they're not taking any cash, but surely this undercuts other retailers like Kalahari, Zaps, etc. who aren't prepared to stoop this low?

While there might be no Harm I maintain that its a underhanded and extremly dodgy business practice. I would like to have a look at the T's & C's of these pre-orders. Sooner or later this is going to come back and bite them in the ass.

No, let them continue. Maybe we'll get lucky, the distributors will get pissed off, and another SA retailer might become the main videogaming distributor here.

I'm not sure I agree with no harm. It is plain and simply false advertising - meant to take your hard earned cash off your hands.

I assume you meant "main videogame retailer", not distributor.

Indeed. Mistake on my part. I find it sad that BTGames often receive exclusive rights to Collector's Editions when there are other retailers who are so much more competent.
