Is anyone really surprised by the announcement of DS3? I mean, it's EA. All they ever do is create long lists of games with numbers after the game name.

DS1 was awesome, but I'm not at all excited for this.

DS1 was awesome and DS2 was even better, but the inclusion of co-op in DS3 has me completely baffled.

The screenshots look cool. Co-op takes away the alone in the dark element of horror, so it's a little odd for a game like DS, but I guess they figure that people like co-op, so let's put it in. Might be lekker. Although I'm thinking that if you don't have a co-op partner, you're going to be stuck with a retarded AI like in Resident Evil 5

Dead Space 3 Co-Op is an interesting idea I must admit, but, that completely defeats the purpose of the type of Survival Horror the Dead Space and Dead Space 2 introduced... Man alone, with the occasional help from strangers...

Co-Op in a game like this will sort of kill the game. It won't have that same "Spare your ammo", "Reload often" that 1 and 2 have. You'll be more relaxed knowing there's someone alongside you to help you out, instead of getting a lekker fright now and again.

For a second playthrough, Co-Op may be an option, but the fact remains... A game like this should be play Single Player (IMO).
