Dear Game server hosts for battlefield 3 ..........

Can we have please have servers that have allow lvl 20 ups and higher who can only play.

The reason i ask , the match making in bf3 always seems stacked. one side has lvl 30 against 1 lvl 30 and 20 low lvl players. Iam forever telling people to spot or asking to drop ammo, the thing that battlefield high lvl players know and do.
People seem to be just going around like cod style and just trying to get kills. The game suffers for it. I dont have time to join a clan, but i would just love to play with guys who are competitive, and know the value of true team work. Sometimes i dont mind play with low levels. But i also would like a strong lvl field with good player base sometimes and test myself instead , iam feel the game drags the player base down and it becomes frustrating.

Instead of every host having all the same type of servers. Is it at all possible to have servers aka (No Noobs allowed) I cant be the only one that thinks this?

Not every high level knows what they are doing, some of them just play a lot.

wow it's a BETA server with 1 map and all your stats will get wiped at release yet people are already crying about segregation.

Asking for proper team balance is one thing, asking to exclude new players is just silly.

@Monk.... Iam talking about when the game released. a the same thing happed in bf2 and iam not saying excluded players, its just one server. Its not segregation its just a way to level out the playing field and lol at the word segregation its such a south africa word. Plus thats why private servers are so big here, for that exact reason.

Agree with you there, but postal does raise a good point.
Though I may not be a very high level player (because I don't have as much time as most), I prefer to play a team based/orientated game and thus always spot, revive, ammo drop, etc...

My 2cents.

Not really, segregation in the USA was only legally abolished in 1970. People like to think we had that market cornered but that's not even close to the truth.

Have noob servers too... So that they don't get frustrated being routed

This is true but, they have will have a better understanding of maps and what they need to do, than say a lvl 2 player who just wants learn and have fun. Plus who wants to play against lvl 40 when ur starting out in bf3.

Postal.

Once the game releases, play only on Hardcore servers. Problem solved.
Your segregation and exclusionist crap just makes you a douche - nothing more.

From my side, I can't confirm that will happen. It's not always entirely fair to match high-level players with others of similar ranks. Look at COD for example, you'll find many high ranking players on the bottom of the score board and will frequently find a lower lever at the top. Ranks don't have a direct correlation to how one plays the game, but in my opinion, merely displays the amount of time they have spent playing.

This is beta and as Monk mentioned, stats are being reset before the official release. Besides, I don't think we, as a GSP, are allowed to limit/restrict service based on rank.

Dunno why you want to limit or restrict a FPS MP by rank. Theres no real reason to do so. Its not like a MMO or something like League of Legends were your actual level means something.

I can understand that the weapon unlocks and attachments might be better for higher levels but i was pooning people last night on level 6 so doenst really matter in my opinion.

Yes I guess. But what my thought process was that if you are good and join a noob server you will level up quickly and join higher servers. A lot of how good you are comes from things like: general propensity to play, experience in Ffs and the specific Ffs.

Although you might think that experience is nothing, it really does affect how you play certain maps etc.

I joined quite early and in the beginning it was easy to be top of the board. I haven't played a lot since launch and now I find it much more difficult.

It really is fact that people that play more will be better... Even if they aren't necessarily the best.

Yes and no. In the broad sense if you do one thing a lot you should improve but a lot of people start out useless and stay useless for the remainder of the game.

I dont think your level improves your aim and game or situational sense. That is practise and concentration.

Have to agree with Postal. There is a lot of players with a COD mentality. This is a team based game with an objective. This is not TDM. You get placed in a squad for a reason, you have a class with a specific role, perform the tasks of your class, stick to the objectives, use cover (important) and you will be fine and do good.

OK so iam not talking about the Bf3 Beta, I know that the stats are going to reset. Iam just asking when bf3 gets realeased ,why not have a open server that allows lvl 20 and upwards only in. So people at least have a understanding how to drop a spawn point ammo, health etc.I guess this is why there is a huge growth in clan and private servers hosting.

Instead lets have 40 exact same servers running at once. I guess hardcore servers solve some problems,But i like the spotting mechanic. I cant be the only one seeing stacked servers every night, and there is mass rage quiting because people are saying the other team are hacking.

Erm... i dont see such a big advantage in having a high rank vs a lower rank :/

If you play smart you can still get enough points on a server, I've seen guys level 3 end up top on the scoreboard and guys with level 30 bottom log. no real big advantage, you'll still get owned if you play against a better player and his level 1.

You mean the 1 in a 1000?

And that person will level up so quickly that he will be out of the noob group in a few games.
