Decent backlit keyboard.

Voice I have the Mirror one. They even fixed the issue of the playback keys not working in winamp :P I love this keyboard and hope it will last me a few more years.

I've got a MS Sidewinder (think it's an X6) with red backlight and it's pretty decent as well. The big volume knobs are a bit ugly but thats the only negative for me and it's not that bad. You can also move the numpad from right to left, and vice versa, which is pretty cool. I bought mine for R499.95 from BT Games a while ago.

Also bought a X6 from BT Games when my G15 bit the dust. It's a lot cheaper than any of the other backlit keyboards out there and the quality is very good. I'm more than happy with it.

Logitech G100

Can change the color from blue through to red and has 3 saveable settings.

I still have a 5 year old Logitech G15, with a monochrome LCD that flaps up. I love it, and its never given me any issues.

If I needed to upgrade and had the urge to spend too much money on a keyboard, I'd go Logitech G510.

I know someone who has a Microsoft Sidewinder and although he loves it, I found the keys are too heavy when I used it.

I wish i could get one of those that had blue back lights. Had one for more than a year and then friend spilled coffee by accident on it got sticky keys and stopped working after trying to fix keys :D Will by one today if i can find one

Well I have a Logitech G11 which had blue backlighting but it's difficult to read the buttons so it sucks a bit for that. I also have the Zboard merc gaming keyboard and it backlighting is very good with 3 colours available with different intensities. They're owned by sreelseries now though.

I'm a bit skeptic now about the Lycosa...mine's fucking out :/. I watching this thread now because I also need a new keyboard. My keys are just soooo kak, they are so hard and it's such a mission to type on that keyboard. I think it's just mine though. Just my luck

Just got a brand new from Prophecy coz the one I had was part of a sketchy batch. Do a google on the affected serial range before you buy it otherwise it really is a lovely keyboard for the price.

Personally, I prefer keyboards which have mechanical (and not rubber dome) keys, such as the Razer Blackwidow. There aren't many mechanical keyboards which are also backlit, unfortunately.

I have the G19 and love it

Only problem i noted is that sometimes my PC just looses the keyboard and i have to plug it out of the USB port and back in. This could be the motherboard though. The logitech software unfortunately also just stops working every now and then which means my keyboard LCD stops displaying the game info.

I got it for cost, only reason i bought it but still feel that it's over priced.

If you don't HAVE to have the colour LCD then go for the G510 pretty much the same as the G19 without the "fancy geeky not have to have stuff"

I've got a G15... I can do without all the macro keys as I don't use em, but I love the LCD panel.
The keyboard is quite worn by now, and I'm due for a new keyboard soon. There's definitely a few mentioned in this thread that I'll be taking a look at when the time comes.

I just picked up my Cybirg V7, will be testing it tonight but it seems to be pretty decent from what I've read and seen
