The end of this post is true . He just really does not like hetero/homosexual people.

Please elaborate if you don't mind, because now I am curious. What kind of people does he like? Or is he really a misanthrope? I know it's completely off the topic of this thread, but like I said, I am curious.

I did edit my post to just elaborate that I might have used the wrong word there.

But he's pretty much an average Joe, he just doesn't want to socialize with homosexuals or straight males that act more like women than men.

He's not a misanthrope though. If anything I'm more of a misanthrope than him.

I see, but when you say he dislikes heterosexuals and homosexuals it just sounds like you are saying he is a misanthrope since most people (generalisation) are in fact either hetero- or homosexual. You should rather say he dislikes homosexuals and effeminate heterosexual males.

Raiden is androgenous. I think the devs made him this way so that he can appeal to a wider player base, otherwise I don't know.(MGS2)
I'm ok with him as a character but never been a fan of his design, especially his lower body.

The whole gender reversal in society thing... yah... I'm not so sure about that, I don't really see it and if it is actually happening... I'm not even sure I care.

What I would like to say is; yep those heel things look stupid, I don't care if they're practical... they do look stupid. Some people didn't like Dante's gun holster because they thought it looked like a bra (I personally didn't think so) but to them the holster looked stupid and that's how I see those heels.

I remember him saying in the game that he has no gender or nationality and that he has no allegiances, so there is a bit of a hole in my argument wrt Raiden. He is bionic and therefor gender neutral. Hmmm. You live and learn.
