Desmond Tutu's home broken into

The Cape Town home of Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu was broken into, Eyewitness News reported on Thursday.

Tutu and his wife were asleep when intruders entered their Milnerton home on Wednesday morning, the broadcaster reported.

Western Cape police said some small items were stolen, including keys and remotes.

Exactly. I don't think such a negative response is warrented. I would probably agree with the negative sentiments if it were JZ's home.
 
Crime is not a problem in this country - wonder when those words will change in to a reaction and precaution so that the police etc start doing their job. Hopefully now Tutu can use his political influence to get Zuma to realise this.

Unfortunately Zuma doesn't give a rat's furry behind about what Desmond has to say. He is quite a vocal critic of the Zuma administration.

Yeah, why can't we have some good / fun news like a break-in at JZ's house. Leave poor old Desmond alone.

Thing is Tutu has such a huge following and that to ignore him becomes a thing where the populous then sides with whoever. After yesterdays speech by Mugabe and Zumas relationship with the tyrant I think he is going to be forced in to a situation where he needs to start using his ears and brain for the original purpose rather than ornaments and do something about the state of the country.
