Destiny 2 Open Beta discussion

So, one of the most anticipated games of the year is currently having an open Beta, Destiny 2. I saw the open beta was only open to console gamers, and I saw a bunch op people are already very upset at the changes to the game.

Apparently there are still a lot of balancing issues between PvP and PvE. Bungie has said they want the two modes to feel the same, and this time around have balanced PvP more, which has had a negative impact on PvE modes. Seeing as most of the game is probably going to be played as PvE, this can be a problem.

Have any of you tried it? Anything to add? What did you think about the beta, and would you recommend the game?

Skipping it completely. I want my first experience to be that of the actual game on release day.
