My immediate dilemma is that I'm also saving up for a Galaxy S2 when I upgrade in November. So my budget is painfully tight

Hope you get what you want I love CEs, there's just something grossly satisfying in being able to call one, "Mine!"

Yeah it is, but in the first 2 weeks of September there is also Dead Island and Resistance 3 that I want. I also want to try to get my hands on Resistance 3 Survivor Edition, but that will be more than R1000 and together with Deus Ex CE that will break my bank completely. I'll probably get Deus Ex CE and one of the other 2 for now though.

Oh, I completely get that too. But as Proph said, it's also about epeen and being one of a very few who get their hands on a one-of-a-kind edition of a game they love.

Just to clarify though: Apologies if I offended anybody. My point was simply that it makes no sense to me...but that should hardly factor in any buy decisions you guys make. If the CE makes you happy then go for it.
