Deus Ex: Human Revolutions - Gameplay Trailer

I'm oh so excited to play another Deus Ex game, being a huge sci-fi junkie and amateur futurist. However, I don't really like the look of 3rd person in this game series as it destroys the sense of immersion for me. Allow me to explain, i pick up my gun and sleuth about the super rich, dirty-corporate office when all of a sudden I have an out of body experience thanks to my training as a yogi. LAME

I disagree, Rainbow Six Vegas pulled off 3rd person cover with 1st person gunplay perfectly. A first person cover mechanic is doomed to failure. As for the take down moves this is more to show off the move than anything else since it won't look half as awesome from first person.

This game looks bloody fun:) Is this for consoles only or is it for all platforms(Xbox,ps3 and pc)

I love this series. I don't care what they say, but I thoroughly enjoyed both the first and the second game in the series. I'm a little bit sceptical about it being made by different developers but here's hoping that they know what they're doing and that they know what we're expecting. Think I'm going to play the first game again in preparation for this one. The first game is still in my top 5 games I've ever played. Holding thumbs.

I just hope they remain as intertwined with our reality as deus ex 1 did. It really added to the immersion factor. They went to a lot of trouble making the augmentations and gadgets seem plausible based on technology in the not-so-distant future.

I also enjoyed the history lessons, although I've found many conflicting dates for the birth of Adam Weishaupt :)

Though I think the concept of an apartment for personal use is very cool - reminds me of blade runner for the pc, as long as they make it interesting to spend time there and not just check your messages before you head out again.

If the gameplay is anything like the trailer it should be a lot of fun :)

The trailer is crazy cool. One thing I noted is the striking similarity in cinematic style with the Metal Gear Solid series.

If it turns out to be as good as the impression I get from the trailer, this one will be added to
my "must play" list.
