But on the topic of beta invites: Blizzard don't want to give invites to people who live on another planet and will give bad reviews due to all latency stuffups with the new system. As much as they want positive feedback that can improve the game they still want to keep a big hype up for the release. My battle.net acc has always been UK and I'm not sure if that will help with beta but either way lets hope

Wouldn't that decrease your chances? There are much more people in the UK. When they do decide to start handing them out to SA there probably wont be that many of us and they decide to give Beta invites to our entire country

It could only increase your chances. The number of people in SA who are trying to get one faaaaar exceeds the number of people who actually will get one.

I also think this it would be March 2012. I think both the SC2 and Cataclysm betas was six months long.

Well, I for one think blizzard will squeeze every bit of time regarding the early 2012 post, so my guess would be around March, April of 2012
