So I decided to give the DH a chance last night. wow, very cool class! Surprisingly, I'm enjoying it more than Monk :)
 
Monk for me. DH does awesome DPS, but the moment the creeps get close enough, ggnore. No real armor, health or crowd control to speak of.

Barbarian would be my second choice - I just love smashing stuff, and at the higher levels the barbarian is a total steam-train.

Would also consider trying the Crusader in place of a Barbarian (mine is really low level still).

I think the first think i would do with the expansion is try out the new character, but it will be interesting to see if you can import your existing characters into the expansion, I assume this will be possible, Coz then its gona suck having to lvl the crusader first...

Does anyone know how D2 Expansions worked? Or has anyone read anything about how this one will follow on? Will you still need to play through the 1st 4 acts and they add on from their? or will it be an entirely new progression?

Witch Doctor needs some F-ing Buffs too... He sucks... Big time... Cant believe i wasted so many hours on the WD Class... Got it into paragons...
 
Barbarian.
Tried the wizard, but it wasn't a match for me. I like to run in there and pound face.

I've been hitting this game hard the last few weeks. Would like to hook with some of the MyG peeps again.
 
Monk class for me, love the weapons he can use.

Tried a bit of Demon Hunter which was not bad, wife plays with Demon Hunter and kicks ass so with her as Demon Hunter and me as Monk we make minced meat of them spawns of Hell.

You always want a demon hunter in your party... They deal such great damage from the back, just need to tank yourself up to take all the hits...

You should try the monk class, also a close combat type.
 
i am quite enjoying the DH class, but i still maintain that nothing holds a candle to the awesome Wizard!
 
Witch Doctor, I love the summoning aspect of the class. More than that though is the entire concept and design of it, very cool to see a non standard looking Necromancer. Plus her voice acting was pretty solid.

Looking forward to the Crusader in the Xpack, sword and board warriors are my jam.
