Diablo 3 gets a new class in Rise of the Necromancer

Don't know if I would call it an expansion, it's basically just DLC.

After a cup of coffee, I've changed the headline. Everyone's definition is going to be different and rather than argue about what should constitute an "expansion pack" I would rather argue about what Blizzard was thinking.

Obviously they need to keep making money off D3 to keep the servers up, but why bring in a pet class that for all intents and purposes was replaced by the Witch Doctor?

Are the new zones like the Immortal King's Court in the Ruins of Sescheron just a tease, or is Blizzard actually working on story content for those areas?

I just think that people have certain expectation from a Blizzard Expansion. They're one of the few developers that I feel always do expansions right.

I think they're just giving people what they want, at a price. People have been whining about the necromancer since the original release of Diablo 3. Personally I've never really liked him, but I might get it if he's not TOO expensive, just to try him out. I'm betting it's going to cost a lot though, Blizzard's stuff has always been way overpriced.
