Diablo 3 Guild...

Hey guys, I'm making a post here also in the hope that it reaches more people.

We have the idea of getting a Guild/Clan site up for Diablo 3
At this stage its mainly to start making more SA friends, to eventually play together when it comes out.

The main thing atm is deciding on a name. And as there will be allot of us here & from MYBB etc playing together it would be great if you can can jump in and suggest a few names for the Guild/Clan and with that also show that you are actually interested in playing together with other South Africans.

Here are some names that's been thrown around, please feel free to post something and we can decide / make a poll maybe

General:
<No Damn Name> - NdN (originally just the placeholder)
<Kill Loot Repeat> - KLR
<Necrology on Demand> - NoD

Lore Based:
<Horadric Hoarders> - HH
<Followers of Tyrael> - FoT

Funnies:
<Deckard Caine Never Shuts Up>
<We Found Baal>
<We Die A Lot>

Btw, Beta is currently expected in the 1st part of September.

So yes the guild/clan is currently called NdN or No Damn Name, well basically because the idea is new and we have not settled on a name yet :p Thou it does not sound bad tbh :p

Go click "Apply" there, become part of it and at the end of all this we will do a POLL with all the top guild names and decide. Its really easy to change the guild name there, but it does mean the address will change also, but I will keep everyone updated.

Kudo's for getting the ball rolling SnowWar. Getting all the SAfricans on the same page (or realm/server etc) is a great idea because there are a LOT of guys who want in on D3.
It may be a bit ambitious as we don't even have a beta release date, but whats the harm :)

Regarding the naming of the guild, I would stay away from anything that has existed in WoW (if possible). The only one I spot above is KLR. They were the number 1 euro guild for a short while.

Looking forward to this piquing some interest :p
 
Hehe ye its quite early get things going, but rather early than late :)

It will take to while to really spread the word, but would it not be nice when people buy D3 and they know where to go to find and play with other SA ppl?

We see it with games like wow, people spread all over, always asking about other SA ppl, but not even know how to find them etc.

As stated before, Beta is soon, so hope you get it. I think there will be different waves of beta keys given out as the beta is never that big and you can only do so much in it.
Expect probly 2 hours of content, x 5 toons and I'd guess playing through it you can probly get you to level 10-12

They have also just launched the D3 Community sites, so that points to soon also:

Nice, me and couple of friends are def getting this game.
Beta's are max 4 weeks away imho, because major Blizzard/Diablo 3 fansites recieved their beta invites today.
So they'll wb ready when beta launches, and SCII beta the fansites, etc. got beta invites 3-4 weeks prior to beta start.

So September is def a good call for when it starts :D

Ye bud, it was prvt app and u will be able to see it in the applications section of the forum. It's been approved and you should also have received an e-mail regarding that :)

Btw e-mails has gone out to the top fan & media sites regarding the beta, so they gearing up and its close. Hold thumbs for access :)
 
There might be some xbox Diablo beta keys going around. From everything that i've heard and read, things might shape up to becoming a cross-platform release, seeing that Blizzard and Valve is begging from cross-platform gaming. Keep your eyes peeled, Blizzard has big plans for BlizzCon. All unofficial rumors though
