Well in that case I'll give it a spin. a Colleague at work mentioned that he had to download a 15gb update last night but I'm thinking he might have had a corrupt installation

I'm not really sure, mine just said "reconfiguring files" I never actually saw it downloading anything, so I'm not 100% sure. Maybe it already downloaded something previously without me knowing about it. :confused:
 
Was only around 6GB for me. But that's from a few weeks ago - it's been downloading the 'future patch data' for a while now.

If you haven't opened D3 in a while, it's probably going to be a larger download.

Of course you can, remember Blizzard/Ea/Activison ect all forget that there are places like SA where internet is not cheap and most people have caps. If we're able to back up the file then I'll gladly give it to you.

Im not even "Joking" When i say this is exactly what i was thinking... Got to get the install file from a mate somewhere... This is ridiculous...

its only 11:45 so u got another 3 hours to wait xD

Holy crap... That is some serious changes that. Reading through the patch notes and I cannot actually tell how big these changes are. Will have to wait for the update and give the game another whirl. I do see a lot of World of Warcraft like changes though. Especially with regards to looting.

This is pretty similar to when they released HotS for SC2. The base game got a huge overhaul a couple of weeks before the expansion released.
