Awesome. I decided to try the game tonight as well, want to see what all the fuss it about with these seasons. Might play some more over the weekend. Still not sure I get it, just playing adventure mode to level up my character at the moment.
 
Is it just me or are Blizzard making the game easier (and more boring) each season?
Yes they added higher difficulty with torment 10, but then they also tweak sets and legendaries to make you more powerful and added the cube.
They also add legendary properties to work well together. This means you have to play a cookie-cutter build to progress. You can't really do your own thing any more and still be all powerful.
I went all out cookie-cutter thorns crusader this season and I cruise through grift50. Hope to get to 60 before I give up on this season.

So this raises the question. Where's it going to end when the next seasons come along?

Because the focus has shifted to higher great rifts. Grift 50 is a joke, I can do it with my eyes closed :D, you should try a 65 then we'll talk. There is also a point in reaching higher rifts, the rewards are insane. We managed to finish a lvl65 on Friday and I ended up dropping 3 ancient items and I made around 60m coins in 1 run. Also gold is important this time around, especially with the higher tier gems and rings. I ended up spending 300m on a single item.

I agree the base content is insanely easy and torment x is a joke, but they are pretty much there to get you geared and lvl'd for higher Grifts.

Woot! I saw that and wanted to suggest it, but didn't know what you guys had tried before and I didn't want to aggravate the issue by suggesting something you had already tried.

It was weirdly one that I never saw. But at least it is working and thanks to friends in one evening from 1 to paragon 108 :D Now to get gear
 
So I see this is going for R300 on PSN until the 22'nd.

I was thinking of picking up this up for some couch co-op with the girlfriend, has anyone got some feedback in regards to this for me?

Its fun, but get very repetitive after a while. It will be good for a few play throughs tho - I wouldnt have over a 1000 hours in it otherwise

I don't know about the console version but the pc version is great fun. I didn't realise it's possible to play it couch co-op.

Yeah, from what I understand it allows up to 4 players (controllers). I've always played it alone though and I think that's half the problem or why I didn't enjoy it as much. But I will say that the console brethren is the superior version, in my humble opinion of course.
