Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls

Soli just sell everything, I never craft low level stuff since it gets replaced rather easily. I rather spend the money on upgrading my smithy and gems and mystic
 
I tend to salvage everything, money isn't an issue by end game.

We finished story mode from 1 to 70 (RoS) and I had 8mil gold at that point just from pickups. Not from selling.

It depends, and this is for playing campaign solo.

I play season so I start with nothing. While leveling and my cashflow is low I sell, otherwise I salvage. I then craft stuff as I reach the required level. I even buy from vendors if the item is an upgrade to my current gear. And early game (below about lvl40) I pick up everything. Always salvage white and blue/yellow as required (cash or mats)

When you pass lvl60 the mats change so you have no further use for the current mats. I sell the remaining low lvl stuff and salvage only from this point on. Cashflow should be sorted by this stage.

Thanks DarkStarZA, that sounds like a good strategy to follow. I'm also playing season and I'm going through the campaign solo.
 
Those are some nice sites DarkStarZA. :)

I managed to get to level 27 last night. Legendary items are now much more common than when I use to play. Or I've been very lucky. Also I'm playing on hard but it's been very easy. Maybe because I've played the game before.

They are far FAR more common now, there's also a much larger variety of them. Loot is tons better now than it was during vanilla D3.
