For those who might have missed this.

Season 3 End & Season 4 Start Dates:

There will be a short period of time between when a Season ends and the next begins. During this time, you’ll be able to sort through your rollover rewards and review your progress on the Leaderboards. It’s a great time to reflect on the accomplishments you’ve made and enjoy the culmination of your pre and post-Season loot hunts!

Season 3 will be ending at the following dates and times for each region:

North America: Sunday, August 23 @ 5:00 p.m. PDT
Europe: Sunday, August 23 @ 5:00 p.m. CEST
Asia: Sunday, August 23 @ 5:00 p.m. KST

Season 4 will be starting shortly after at the following dates and times for each region:

North America: Friday, August 28 @ 5:00 p.m. PDT
Europe: Friday, August 28 @ 5:00 p.m. CEST
Asia: Friday, August 28 @ 5:00 p.m. KST

So the new patch is out tomorrow. Time to get those cubes and farm bounties on T7 or higher:

http://www.diabloii.net/blog/comments/guide-how-to-prepare-for-patch-2-3-non-seasonal

"Make a fast-movement farming build that can handle T7.
Running all five bounties per Act for the new cache mats is a way of live in Patch 2.3. You get the maximum 4 mats per cache (plus the bonus cache) on T7 or higher."

Thanks to @Arcite for the heads up.

Edit: k, so I can't mention him but he's here somewhere.

I did not play PTR so tried a bit of 2.3 with my old Season3 character. T8 was a breeze, T10 a bit more challenging. I would estimate t10 at about Grift lvl40~43 difficulty. The new Ruins of Sescheron in Act III looks good with some new monster types. Cube is easy to get, the mats is more involved. Can see many bounty runs happening in season 4.

protip: Two "secret" cube recipes to remember is you can transmute a Puzzle Ring to open a goblin portal, and you can also transmute a Bovine Bardiche to open Not The Cow Level.

I will wait for s4 before investing time in Diablo again.

I'm perplexed.

There is no character I feel I just have to play this season. At first I thought WD, then DH, then Barb, then back to DH, now back to WD. And that was just yesterday.

Wish I had the time for all of the above.

Im planning on leaderboards again this time, so i need to make all 5 :O

Join the dark side! Or the warm and snuggly side :)

Ek is besig met Witcher3, maar die 2.3 patch lyk net te goed om nie te speel nie :D

Hehehe ekke sal speel - dis ekke, wat is die kans dat ek dit gaan mis. Maar ek begin eers more aand want vanaand kuier ons!

Someone analysed the average costs based on drop chance for all legendaries in 2.3. The costs analysed were the average number of blood shards required before obtaining an item versus the average number of death's breaths required upgrading rares in the Kanai Cube. It's very interesting and basically the verdict is rather farm Death's breaths, despite the 50 per upgrade required by the cube. You will get that Kridershot much faster than you can "OMG A KRIDERSHOT!".

So what's the general way people level up seasonal characters when there's no one to help power level? I'm thinking high level adventures and rifts?
