Diablo 3 Surpasses 15 Million Sales

Activision announced today during an investor's call that Diablo III has sold 15 million copies. It was only a few months ago that the publisher revealed sales of 14 million units.

Originally released on PC in May 2012, Diablo III came out on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 in September 2013, which helped spur sales from the 10 million reported players in late 2012. Activision hopes to see another boost with the release of the expansion Reaper of Souls, which comes out March 25 on PC and Mac, as well as the PS4 version titled Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition.

i have played D3 on PC (for a little while) and then on XBOX (for about 70 hours). if you have a console, you owe it to yourself to get D3. its brilliantly fluid. controls are at your fingertips and the game is like butter on silk :-)
