What?!?! 0.o You mean it's not real?!?!

Oh noes ... and I was so happy!! Cos I was so awesome that I got a personal invite ... and I totally gave them the details to my non-existent Battle.net account. Which I hope they enjoy trying to get into :p

Heh ... on the other hand I must be one of the .5% of gamers not excited about Diablo III :p

Hey Shadow I saw that screenie you put on your failbook, the email addy was from blizzard, what was the reply address???

Addy's read as follows:

From: diablo3 ([email protected])
reply-to: [email protected]

Almost seems like it could be legit. But yeah ... if you see an e-mail asking for your details and password you should have huge gonging, monastery type alarms going off in your head.

That and the complete lack of branding.

And I always thought you were such a nice decent guy. Then I saw this, now I know you are a heathen lol :D

I agree with Simon :)

Got 3 of those mails so far :)
Replied to one asking why a blizzard employee would need my password, got me a nice Nigerian broken English reply :)

0.0 I'm not a heathen, you religious fanatic :p I'm agnostic :D

Although I do feel slight pangs of religious fervor when GW2 gets mentioned ... you'll have to forgive me my double standards :D

Well ... apparently gold farming is a legit job in China - and you know how cutthroat the business must be ... these blokes need to stay on the cutting edge :p

bloody twats! what are a bunch of asians gona do with a bunch of european accounts!? yes it was a rhetorical question :P

With that amount of information, why don't we just report them to some Chinese authorities?

It would be absolutely pointless, I think.

I actually wasn't joking when I said it's a legit occupation in China - there are probably entire companies built around gold-farming. Besides which, they may be shredding game T&C's to bits, but there's no actual laws being broken (well ... apart from the theft of personal data and accounts, but I'm not sure if China has laws that cover that) - so I doubt anything will come of bothering to report it.
