Yeah it will be interesting.

We are quite a few people still playing. Blizzard keeps on improving the game with every patch. We desperately need PVP though and I'm wondering if it will be in the next patch.

meh, as long as the expansion offers a great deal of new maps and monsters, then yeah. why not. If there is at least a new character, then I'm sure it will be a hit.

I have a faint feeling that people expected to feel exactly "the first wow" they felt when playing diablo1 which obviously isn't possible since you already experienced it. So far D3 has been diablo to me in the sense it was in D1/D2.

How many titles with next iteration have you felt that "fist wow" again and again? I doubt it.

Most titles nowadays that comes out will be more action, it is just the way the majority wants and supports it...

I wasn't actually wowed by either Diablo 2 or 3, and have never played 1. For me it wasn't really an issue of hype or anything. It was an issue of the game being bogged down by absolutely ridiculous mechanics and the gameplay suffering for it.
