Diablo III - General Discussion Thread

Here is a interesting conundrum. Over the last few weeks Blizzard has been releasing the character class spots, this week was Wizard - the last class to be revealed. However....

Why is there another spot open between the wizard and the launch? Mystery Character? Who Knows. I just thought it... Odd.
 
They did mention that there will be a chance before launch for ppl who missed some of the classes to get those stuff again before launch again. Maybe that is what it is for...

Its either a Auction House or Artisants or Followers Spot or.... a 6th Character Class. ?
 
Quick question.

What is the difference between buying the game at BT games (Or any other shop for that matter) for R450, and straight from the Blizzard site for +-R600? Besides the price of course :P

If you buy it direct from Blizzard it will automatically be added to your games library on Battle.net, you download the client, install and once the servers are live, log in and away you go.

If you buy retail you will need to install (possibly patch) the client, sign into battle.net and add Diablo 3 to your game library manually by entering the CD key provided with your retail copy. Once this is done, launch client, sign in & away you go.

I highly doubt they will send you a key, if you buy from them they send you the physical retail disc. Unless they have started some sort of direct download system since I left.

Now that is what I was looking for, ta.

Will try my luck on launch day to buy at BT games. If no luck, will get it online.
 
Takealot ships the day before release, so you get it on the release date. I don't know if Kalahari does the same thing, but I think they do.

MMOGamer sells serials without retail discs, but they don't have D3 listed yet. You can try contacting them to find out if they will be getting D3 on the release date.

It's possible to get the game client before release even if you didn't pre-order from Blizzard. You just need to get hold of the installer. Then you just need to enter the serial once you get it.

Woohoo! I got the 15th and the 16th off. :D

It's going to be awesome! Except if something happens. Oh noes. Like the servers can't handle all the people or I just happen to have internet problems during that time or.....

Nah, here's hoping to two days of pure gaming bliss. :D

I ask kalahari.net they said they will post them on the 14th so I am smillling:D
 
Im actually wondering if the one with the crown is actually Tyrael? There are two different angels in that video and the other one. Without spoiling anything, Inarius anyone? Just a theory...

The one with the crown is Imperius, Tyrael is shown at 0:18 in the vid.
